Staff Attorney
Samuel Frankel is an experienced litigation attorney, who has supervised the workers’ compensation department of numerous firms. He has been responsible for formulating and implementing file handling procedures from inception of litigation through trial or settlement, as well as performing all aspects of Florida workers’ compensation litigation and arbitration, appearing regularly for mediation conferences, defending clients in depositions, and prosecuting claims through the trial and appellate processes. His management responsibilities have included supervision of several attorneys and paralegals, client development, establishment of new sources of business, and coordination of case assignment and litigation management. He has prepared and conducted extemporaneous talks to large and small groups of insurance professionals. He has interacted with government regulators and litigated/settled investigations and claims involving alleged violations of FLSA, Davis-Bacon Act, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, NLRA and Title VII, in federal court.
Mr. Frankel received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina, majoring in History. He received his J.D. from the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, and his Masters of Law from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, where he focused his studies on International Taxation, graduating Cum Laude.
