Mr. Chanfrau has over 15 years experience providing legal counsel to corporations, business entities and individuals. He has career-long experience in the legal aspects of the construction industry, as well as a strong focus on employment and human resources law. He holds the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification.

Mr. Chanfrau is highly experienced in interacting with government regulators at all levels. He is also highly skilled in all areas of negotiation, with a reputation for consistently facilitating outcomes that are agreeable to all parties involved. He has negotiated construction services contracts, construction payment and defect litigation, environmental compliance, labor, employment law, health & safety, real estate, administrative law, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation.

He has also obtained advanced training in several areas relevant to his client work, including union avoidance, premises liability to third parties on construction projects, construction arbitration, prosecuting claims in bankruptcy court, union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, grievances, discipline and discharge cases, grievances and arbitrations, and alleged unfair labor practices.

Mr. Chanfrau is a widely-respected presenter, and has several published articles to his credit, including: Employment Arbitration: From Deciding to Arbitrate Through Challenging the Award and Employment Law at its Best for the Florida Bar, and Knock, Knock! The OSHA Inspection Survival Guide for The Docket magazine.
